Busytown Bikes

Frank Jalbert and Dominic Giampaolo founded Busytown Bikes in late 2012. Frank and Dominic grew up in Lewiston riding BMX bikes. For many years they talked about opening a bike shop but the timing was never quite right. But when Dominic decided to move back to Maine with his family for the more relaxed pace of life, the stars aligned for opening the shop.

After extensive renovations during winter of 2012/2013, we opened our doors in March of 2013.  We're committed to supporting and giving back to the local community of Lewiston/Auburn and the greater Androscoggin area.

Both Dominic and Frank have a passion for bikes. Whether it's tooling around the neighborhood with kids, commuting, racing, going off-road, or even doing BMX tricks, we just love bikes. If you come in and talk with us you'll understand.
